Maryland’s premier professional ballet company provides audiences with rich, traditional and innovative programs that include classical story ballets, original works of American history and classical literature, and high-energy contemporary pieces. A sampling:

Vortex: a contemporary repertory piece inspired by the four primary energy vortex centers of Sedona, Arizona.

The Sleeping Beauty: an enchanting full-length ballet of romance, whimsy and light set to Tchaikovsky’s magnificent score.

Pirates of the Chesapeake: a swashbuckling adventure based on tales of colonial America’s pirates and buccaneers.

Masque of the Red Death: Edgar Allan Poe’s chilling specters portrayed with haunting elegance.

Swan Lake, Act II: be captivated by the dances of the swan maidens by the lake.

An American Southwest Carmen: a true-life Carmen story of passion, intrigue, and betrayal in the American West featuring Bizet’s timeless music.

Beauty and the Beast: BTM dancers bring these beloved fairytale characters to life in a full-length ballet suffused with metaphor, magic, humor, and enchantment.

Complimentary Activities:

BTM offers master classes, interactive outreaches, workshops, and residencies with all of its touring programs. Most can be adapted to fit ages K-Adult. BTM is certified by theTeaching Artist Institute (TAI). Fees for these programs range from $825 to $12,000
